As someone who has never embroidered before, Niamh’s kit has the clearest, most easy to understand written instructions!! I’m flying through learning the stitches, and I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned to use in some of her other kits! I can 100% recommend this kit to any other complete beginner!
All of the materials included are such good quality too! The hoop holds the fabric so well!
Just completed the embroidery started kit and it's adorable, I love it. I well and truly have got the itch to stitch, I've found it so therapeutic and can't wait to pick it up. I have 2 young children and have been trying to make time for a hobby and this is perfect; easy to pick up and put down without getting lost. Can't wait for the next kit.

Have received the starter kit and awaiting subscription. These kits are of high quality plenty of threads to allow for mistakes (essential for beginners) really good pictorial stitch guide. Scissors and needleinder great to have. Preprinted calico which other similar kits don’t provide personally i prefer this rather than tracing from a pattern. Love supporting this business of hand created designs

I bought this kit from Niamh at the knit and stitch show, I was hesitant as a complete beginner but Niamh was very encouraging and sure that these kits are good for beginners, and she was not wrong!
This is the first bit of embroidery I've ever done, and I've loved all of it. Getting a high quality kit as your first is probably the best gift you can give to yourself, it makes the whole experience as easy and fun as possible. These are such magical designs and are a joy to stitch. Naimh is such an amazing artist to create these simple but perfect little animals.
I love these stick and stitch designs because they are super easy to stitch and follow the lovely designs but it’s also possible to create something really different and unique but with the guidance of a lovely template. I love all the designs but the lobster is amazing and there are so many possibilities!
Really disappointed that the starter kit is clearly AI art. The colour scheme feels flat
I have just started this subscription as i loved this design. It’s my Christmas project I can’t wait. I am very impressed with quality of the kit and the full detailed instructions. I’m new to embroidery but feel like I can do the project with the information provided
I’ve been subscribed to the quarterly kits and love them! So when I was looking for embroidery to give to my Sister as the finished product I knew Wimperis Emboridery was where to get it from. The quality is sensational and makes such a big impact on the finished product. Clear instructions, beautiful colours and a ribbon to finish it all off, and to hang as a decoration. It took me just over two hours, but will last a lifetime, and I know that she’s going to love it!!!

Niamh’s kits are beautifully done but with a huge thread stash and needles aplenty I couldn’t justify a full kit purchase. I know full well that a pdf subscription, with the need to get fabric and transfer to it, would just never get started. The fabric and instructions subscription is perfect for me, it’s budget friendly, gives me the fiddly bit (printed fabric) ready to go and I can go rouge with colours to my hearts content. The instructions make a great stitch library or booklets, though mine often end up covered in scrawl where I’ve been making notes on colour changes or ideas for additions. This subscription gives me the perfect starting point to be creative from.
I really love the fabric option. I have collected a lot of threads over the years so don't need the full kit but having the fabric makes it so much easier. The booklet is so handy, it's so nicely organised and easy to understand. Designs are great and I really love the variety of stitches in each. Started as a beginner and I have finished 1 hoop so far, working on 2 and 3 currently. SO happy to have this option!!
I've been wanting to make a matching set of family ornaments for AGES and these patterns/hoops were the final push I needed. Absolutely obsessed with how they turned out and I just know I'll be sobbing with joy every year when I unpack these to hang them on the tree.
The designs in this collection are so fun! I’ve only done one so far but couldn’t resist leaving a review as I enjoyed stitching it so much. The stick and stitch ‘sticky fabric’ sticks nicely while stitching but easily washes fully away under cold water.
I love having the option of the fabric and instructions. I’m an avid stitcher so have an abundance of skeins with no ideas on what to do with them. These designs are so easy to use and everything is explained perfectly. Would 100% recommend

I bought this kit for a friend as her birthday present, for her to try out embroidery, since she already did cross stitch. She loved it! She said she liked that the stitches were varied and the instructions easy to follow. She took it to the village fair, and won 3rd place!!!

Another wonderful kit by Niamh! Love the autumn colours on the lovely teapot. As always, the instructions are clear and easy to understand, now with QR codes for videos Niamh has made for some of the trickier stitches (as well as the paper instructions, 2-1)!
