It's like Christmas once a quarter when these kits arrive! I love seeing them develop and be revealed on Instagram and then to receive it is a total treat: the colours are even more vibrant and the quality is top notch! Everything you could wish for in an embroidery kit - you can tell it's designed and put together by someone who loves embroidery and wants you to have the best experience.
Just opened up this kit and it was like opening up an exquisite present. The thought that is put into every detail is truly wonderful, like the little notch cut out of the top of the thread card to store your thread ends. I also love these kits/patterns because the stitches she chooses are both unique but also so much fun to do. I get very tired of patterns filled with only satin stitch and these patterns are the absolute opposite of that. A true joy!
'Gamechanger' is right - this makes finishing the hoops so much quicker and easier! Such a simple but great idea.
This is the first Wimperis design I've done and I really enjoyed the process! These smaller kits are great value for money if you don't need all the threads / hoop. It's a lovely design and helped me learn some new stitches with the very clear downloadable instructions.
Very well written instructions! And the design is beautiful, I’m only about halfway through but i love the thread wrapping on the hoop and can’t wait to do it. Ive followed her on instagram for awhile and she shares lots of tips and tutorials so i feel very prepared to do it myself!
Mary Poppins couldn’t fill this! It’s deceptively large - I have an embroidery kit and a crochet project in mine. Love it!
The quality of this bag really surprised me, all of the seams have binding inside the bag so there aren’t raw or unfinished edges and the ends of the zips are really nicely finished. Print is obviously great, there’s loads of room inside it. You absolutely do want one. Got mine at stitchfest so I could look at it first, just buy, you won’t be disappointed!
I've been a subscriber for a long time and every kit is a delight to stitch.
I was a complete beginner when I fisrt subscribed and every time Niamh reveals the new design I always think to myself 'mine isn't going to look like that' and to my great delight they always look beautiful.
Now I carry my latest project with me so I can do a few stitches to ground me after a busy meeting our a quiet 5 minutes with a coffee rather than scrolling my phone.
Easy to understand instructions, no AI!!!! and an ownder who will reply to my mad messages like 'which side do I stitch the pinecone from?' when I've had a complete brain fart, Wimperis Embroidery is the loveliest shop to buy from.

As someone who has never embroidered before, Niamh’s kit has the clearest, most easy to understand written instructions!! I’m flying through learning the stitches, and I can’t wait to put what I’ve learned to use in some of her other kits! I can 100% recommend this kit to any other complete beginner!
All of the materials included are such good quality too! The hoop holds the fabric so well!
Just completed the embroidery started kit and it's adorable, I love it. I well and truly have got the itch to stitch, I've found it so therapeutic and can't wait to pick it up. I have 2 young children and have been trying to make time for a hobby and this is perfect; easy to pick up and put down without getting lost. Can't wait for the next kit.

Have received the starter kit and awaiting subscription. These kits are of high quality plenty of threads to allow for mistakes (essential for beginners) really good pictorial stitch guide. Scissors and needleinder great to have. Preprinted calico which other similar kits don’t provide personally i prefer this rather than tracing from a pattern. Love supporting this business of hand created designs

I bought this kit from Niamh at the knit and stitch show, I was hesitant as a complete beginner but Niamh was very encouraging and sure that these kits are good for beginners, and she was not wrong!
This is the first bit of embroidery I've ever done, and I've loved all of it. Getting a high quality kit as your first is probably the best gift you can give to yourself, it makes the whole experience as easy and fun as possible. These are such magical designs and are a joy to stitch. Naimh is such an amazing artist to create these simple but perfect little animals.
I love these stick and stitch designs because they are super easy to stitch and follow the lovely designs but it’s also possible to create something really different and unique but with the guidance of a lovely template. I love all the designs but the lobster is amazing and there are so many possibilities!
Really disappointed that the starter kit is clearly AI art. The colour scheme feels flat
